I'm So Sorry

Scooter,

I'm so sorry to hear that the Japan trip didn't end up working out for you. I wish I could say "I know how you feel," but in truth, I don't. But, hey, it's not the end of the world, right? I'm sure you'll come across another excellent opportunity sometime in the future. Like they say: every cloud has a silver lining.

Before I Forget

Hey Scooter,

I talked to Juliana and she said she'd like to be able to post on the blog. Can you send her an invite to be an author when you get the chance? Thanks.

Working

'Lo,
So my parents are on board with the Japan idea...kinda...but they want me to make it so that instead of five weeks its three weeks. I've actually looked but the only three week ones have either language requirements or are cutting into the next school year. I am O.K. with this because I want to do the five week one.
Awww....Five whole weeks in Japan...Its like a dream. All I've been able to think of in the last few days is, "What is the family going to be like?" "What city will I stay in?" and "What are we going to do there?" Now all I have to do is get my parents fully committed and fill in the rest of the forms.
I can't wait

Hey Scoots

Okay, I did a little "geeking" (as my father calls it) and apparently, since I'm not the creator of the blog, I can't invite anyone to be authors. I can, however, invite people to follow. So I'll be sure to do that ASAP. But if you want people to be authors, you're going to have to e-mail them the request on your own. If you need e-mails of people, I can help you out with that.

That's all for now.

Animals Vs. Megan

No I do not mean Megan K., I mean Megan's law. I'm watching the news as I write this and they just said something about a new law for animal rights. They are trying to make it so that animal abusers have to register online, similar to Megan's Law.
I truly think this is awesome because I feel few things have been done to help animals. Everday people abuse them and they get away with it well I hope this new law comes into effect to help this. Not to sound like the liberal nutcase that I am but it just makes me want to cry when animals are abused.
On a lighter note (not to sound like a newscaster) they also said that there is a new World Record for the tallest dog. He is a cutie, Giant George, and hes huge in a good way.
Bah-Bah

Hey

Hey,

Just to be clear, Scooter only brake-checked (notice proper spelling SCOOTER) me a couple of times. Maybe 3? Anyway, we did go on a ride and unfortunately I wimped out and walked up the larger hill. Sad, right? So we reached a neighborhood that had a park. I turned towards the park and Scooter went the other way. I stopped at the corner and waited for him, but I didn't see him anywhere. I turned around and went the direction I thought he went, but I didn't see him. Then, all of a sudden, he comes up behind me and scares me half to death! It turns out he took a circle back around to the park, and when he saw me turn around, he decided it would be fun to scare me. Jerk.

On the way back, we saw this totally awesome puddle. So, after sitting there for a while and debating whether or not we should go through it, Scooter decided to go. He went back a ways, built up some speed, and then rocketed through it and got totally filthy. I promised I would go, but I decided to come from the other direction. I stepped in a puddle or two on my way over there, but then I turned around and started heading full-speed for the puddle. But it was muddy and I lost speed fairly quickly. I started peddling and slowly trudged through the insanely muddy puddle that was actually deeper than I thought it would be. By the time I got out of the puddle, my legs, back, butt, and even face was covered in mud. Thankfully, I wasn't wearing my epic rainbow socks, but I could feel the water in my shoes!

After the crazy muddy ride, we went to my house. I got Scooter a snack and went upstairs to change into less muddy clothing - thank goodness for big t-shirts and gym shorts! After that we hung out with my adorable dogs (Koda is a "macho" little white fuzzball and Molly is a very pretty wheaten terrier) and then headed to the park. We sat on the middle bench - hence the name of the blog.

That's just about it. Now I'm kinda bored and attempting to work out this "ventrilo" thingamajig with Rick who apparently is not able to multitask (haha).

That's all for now. See ya!

First Blog

Hello,
Went on a bike ride today and I managed to break-check Megan several times. Just wanted to share that. And now the ground rules:
  1. No using "lol." I really hate that so please don't use it.
  2. If want to be a blogger just facebook me.
  3. The main purpose of this blog is to say what you did today like a daily journal but for people to read, i.e. a blog. It is also to talk about goals for your future.
  4. Please use good punctuation because anything else hurts my eyes. Notice how I try to do this.
More to come...Maybe
Bye
